Why marbles should be banned from school

Marbles rolling everywhere! Clink! Clink! Clink!
The sound of marbles hitting each other, kids with loud voices and teachers staring. Should students be allowed to bring marbles to school?

In my opinion children shouldn’t be allowed to bring marbles to school because although they’re having fun they can also cause arguments over who is the best at playing with marbles.

First of all marbles shouldn’t be allowed at school because sometimes marbles can start a fight over who won the marbles.

Second of all they shouldn’t be brought to school because it distracts students from their learning by playing with marbles during class time instead of doing their work.

My last reason is that marbles shouldn’t be brought to school is because it is very annoying when people put their marbles in their pockets and the marbles jingle all the time. Sometimes the marbles fall out of their pockets during assembly and it distracts everybody.

In conclusion marbles should be banned from school.

Hello Sela
I was interested to read that a student wants to have marbles banned from school. I had to check you weren't a teacher. I enjoyed reading your post Sela, you have put your argument clearly.
I loved playing with marbles when I was a student at Primary School. I understand what you mean about marbles being a distraction and a cause of some disagreements. But they can also be a lot of fun and a very good distraction from the cold and wet weather we have. Maybe having them left in a place in class as students enter could help minimise the distractions they can cause. I'm sure a creative mind like yours could come up with some alternative solutions to banning.

I look forward to reading more posts from you Sela.
