Pets! Why do people keep pets? People keep pets because they are loyal and understanding. Pets can also help people in many different kinds of ways. For example pets can show us love, they can guard houses, dogs can guide blind people they also give us exercise.

Pets can give people good company and they are also loving. If you are lonely you can go to your pet and talk to it. Sometimes pets are more understanding than people because if you talk to your pet it will just sit there and listen to you. However if you talk to a person that person might not even be listening to you. Pets are also very, very lovable and cuddly. If you’re sad you could go and cuddle your pet.

People also keep pets as guard dogs to guard the house while they are out shopping. Dogs can also bark if a burglar tries to steal something from the house. The dog might even bite that person that tries to steal. That would hurt wouldn’t it?

Dogs are great to keep as pets. They are fun and they can keep you and your house safe. Dogs can also warn people if there is a fire or there is something wrong.

Dogs can also guide blind people as well. They can guide blind people while they’re walking on the street and guide dogs are specially trained to guide people who are blind. If you go past a guide dog and it is wearing its special harness on then don’t distract it. The special harness means that the dog is working. Guide dogs also keep blind people company and are very playful.

Pets also help people get exercise. When people take their dos out for exercise they are actually getting exercise themselves. Pets also help people remember to go outside and exercise by grabbing their leashes and taking it to their owners. Pets are very clever aren’t they?
