Agents of Change
Agents of Change
On Thursday November 13th our cluster of schools held a film festival at Tamaki College. Our entry was a movie we created using the song 'Agents of Change' which we sang at the combined choirs festival. You can see all the other movies shown at the film festival by clicking this link.
On Monday the 24th of November Dylan Elise performed an amazing drum show in our school hall. Everyone absolutely loved the show. His showmanship and musical ability were an inspiration. Dylan is influenced by jazz. At 18 he is already an accomplished musician. Highlights of the show are shown below.

Foaming Monsters
Hello. For our science fair experiment we wanted to find out what ingrediants would make the best foaming monster. We mixed equal amounts vinegar and dishwashing liquid with 1 teaspoon of baking soda for one monster. We made another monster with 3/4 of dishwashing liquid and1 /4 vinegar and then added one teaspoon of baking soda. The last monster had 3/4 vinegar to 1/4 dishawashing liquid. We observed to see which mixture was best. The monster with more vinegar made the best monster. It had a lot of foam and exploded out of the bottle. Please leave a message for us.

Growing Crystals
For their Science Fair investigation Laura, Kupakwashe and Nooroa wanted to find out in which condition did crystals grow the fastest. They used one cup of boiling water and three tablespoons of copper sulphate to grow the crystals. They mixed three solutions and put it into three jars. They put one jar in a dark room, one in a fridge and one in the sun. Sabrina interviewed Kupakwashe and Laura to find out what they did and what happened. View the video below to find out where it grew first. Please leave a comment for us.
