Tama's First Trip to Wellington
It was a tiring Friday morning and I was awake at 2:00am. I was as cold as my freezer sleepy but excited. The day came when my family and I had driven down to Wellington.

I had my bags packed ready for the trip. On the way down to Wellington we had
stopped in a few towns from Auckland to Hamilton and Hamilton to Cambridge and from Cambridge we had gone all the way to Taupo. Taupo was the best town we had stopped at because of the lake. It was huge and we had driven right around the edge of it.
It had been a long drive, so long, that I thought that we would be old people by the time we arrived. However by the time we had arrived it was around lunchtime and we were starving so we stopped at the shop to get something to eat.
In Wellington we were all tired. We went to the hall where the wedding happened and we set up some mattresses for us to sleep on. On the day of the wedding we were all excited that my uncle was going to get married. That day was really busy and everyone was singing and dancing and eating. I was so happy for my uncle, the wedding was great and everything was perfect. Afterwards we had said our good byes and we were on our way back to Auckland. I wanted to stay but we had to leave.
I had a great time that day and I had lots of fun.

Sustainability Rhyme

MY NAME IS PLANET EARTH,
HOW CAN I SURVIVE,
THIS BAD LITTLE CURSE,
IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE.
HEY HAVE YOU HEARD OF REDUCE?
HAVE YOU HEARD OF RECYCLE?
HAVE YOU HEARD OF REUSE?
NO I DON'T THINK SO
BUT THESE THINGS YOU MIGHT EVEN SAVE THE WORLD.
HEY NZ WERE ASKING YOU
NOT TO CUT DOWN THE TREE’S
CAUSE OUR LITTLE PLANET EARTH
IS BEGGING YOU PLEASE
WE NEED OXYGEN TO BREATHE FROM THE TREE’S.
HEY LISTEN UP TO WHAT I GOT TO SAY
JUST KEEP ON WALKING EVERYDAY,
MY BROTHER IS USING THE CAR
THOUGH HE’S NOT GOING FAR,
IT WILL BE PRETTY SWEET IF HE USED HIS FEET
SO THAT’S IT FROM ME
PLANET EARTH IS SAYING PLEASE!
PROTECT OUR TREES DON'T LITTER ON ME.

Glides through water easily.
Eating fish daily.
2) Is a flightless bird.
Fish is its favorite food.
Swims through cold water.
3)Swings through the jungle.
Eats bananas from the tree.
Has two very long arms.

Just so Story - How the Zebra got its Stripes

Long time ago when the Zebra had no stripes the animals just laughed because he was plain white. As sad as the rain he plotted on down the jungle path until he came to a cave. Inside the cave were two gleaming eyes....a Tiger!
The tiger pounced out into the rain and the Zebra just laughed and laughed. He could not stop laughing. He tried to stop his laugh but it was too late. “What?” asked the Tiger. Tiger looked down its stripes were gone now both animals had no stripes. Zebra woke up to find Tiger with stripes and to his amazement he had black stripes they both ran away to show off. Other animals were impressed with his stripes. Nearby monkey was holding a paint can....
... AND THAT'S HOW ZEBRAS GOT STRIPES...
