Holiday Recount - Soccer Skills
On April the 12th my soccer team and I traveled to Wellington by bus to compete in the soccer tournament and to learn some soccer skills in Lower Hutt.
The first skill we had to learn was to kick with both legs past the ten meter mark. My left foot made it very difficult because it is my weak leg. When it was my turn I had no problem with my right leg but surprisingly with my left leg I got 3 shots in one go then I didn’t worry at all.
The next skill we learnt was kicking. You had to use the inside of your foot and the outside of your foot to kick into the goal. You had to use your inside of your foot to kick 5 meters and the outside of your foot for the 7 meter goal.
Now finally the last skill was the heading skill it was hard because you had to run at the ball when it’s in the air and head it in through the goal. That was sore.
Overall learning the skills was hard but enjoyable because my friends were there.

That sounded like a lot of hard work!Yeah it would be hard kicking with your left leg but the best thing to do is to try your best.I hope to see more of your work.

Hay Earle.
That sounded fun but really difficult at the same time. It's good to know that you passed the test though. Great way of writing your story ! Id like to hear more stories from you ! keep up the good work.
